Description

The Mercedes-Benz 190SL was introduced to the World as a concept at the 1954 New York Motor Show as a super-luxurious roadster and much more affordable alternative to the SL300 range of supercars despite having very similar external proportions. Inside and out the engineering and build standards were unsurpassed but unlike the 300SL this was no racer and much favoured by the female jet-set and royalty such as Zsa Zsa Gabor, Princess Grace of Monaco, Ingrid Bergmann just to mention a few – Until recently seen as the poor cousin to the 300SL but now vastly appreciating in its own right and a true collectors piece.
