For those of us old enough to remember, this car caused a sensation when introduced and was much loved by Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear. Performance wise, it turned the standard AM V8 Saloon into a genuine ‘beast’ of a car with its tuned 5343cc engine producing a massive 375 bhp and acceleration from 0-60 mph in less than 5.3 seconds Faster than a Ferrari Daytona! Later ‘X’ Pack models were even faster but the original subtle aesthetics were somewhat compromised by too many tacky adornments but you cannot always have everything in life.
